Dr. Mohammed Mazharuddin

MEDICAL DIRECTOR

Dr. Mohammed Mazharuddin completed his residency at Creedmoor Psychiatric Center, an affiliate of Columbia University School of Medicine and NewYork-Presbyterian. Most recently, he served as an Associate Professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, located at Elmhurst Hospital Center, where he treated a diverse patient population and supervised psychiatry residents.

A lifelong New Yorker, Dr. Mazharuddin has lived and worked in the city throughout his entire career, including previous work with the Project for Psychiatric Outreach to the Homeless. His mission is to bring quality psychiatric care to as many individuals in need as possible.

A treatment that actually works I spent years taking medication and therapy for depression and nothing worked. I did seven IV treatments and my life has drastically changed for the better. The staff is very nice and extremely supportive. On my final IV session I had a breakthrough which was very overwhelming and one of the nurses held my hand and stayed with me until I was able to calm down and feel safe. I have had an extremely positive experience referring my patients here. I recently met the new medical director, Dr. M., who was lovely and listened to my concerns for a particular patient. My patient was promptly given an consultation and started infusions shortly there after, and shared with me having a positive experience at NYK. I have visited the facility myself over a year ago and met with Dr. Glatter and some other doctors and I can that it is super clean and welcoming. I plan to continue to refer my patients here.

Dr Brooks is the kindest, most dedicated and caring doctor I have ever met. A rare breed, for sure.
